When there are things that have no answers, does that not peak your interest?
When stories are told about events that took place, or in this case this awesome monument was built and the one man that knows who built it isn’t telling the world anything, isn’t that just amazing.
Does it not stir inside you the pondering of why?
Why was this built?
What were the intentions?
What did this monument hope to accomplish?
Who was this man who ordered this built and why all the secrecy?
The message of the Georgia Guide stones stands for all to see, if you have never seen or heard of these before please take the time to look and read.
THE MESSAGE OF THE GEORGIA GUIDE STONES
The first commandment or rule calls on everyone to “Maintain humanity under 500,000,000 in perpetual balance with nature.” The stones were built in Elbert County, Georgia, in the United States
On four major stone blocks, is written in eight different languages: English, Spanish, Swahili, Hindi, Hebrew, Arabic, Chinese, and Russian. A shorter message is inscribed at the top of the structure in four ancient languages’ scripts: Babylonian, Classical Greek, Sanskrit, and Egyptian hieroglyphs
Let these be guide-stones to an age of reason.
The origination of the Georgia Guide stones is steeped in bizarre mysticism.
They were said to be paid for by an anonymous man with the unlikely name of R.C. Christian back in 1979. Indeed, the name of the donor has remained a secret ever since. As folk legend would have it, a certain Mr Christian came to town out of nowhere and just as quickly returned to nowhere.
Let’s look at what all the stones say to us:
· “Maintain humanity under 500,000,000 in perpetual balance with nature.”
· Guide reproduction wisely – improving fitness and diversity.
· Unite humanity with a living new language.
· Rule passion – faith – tradition – and all things with tempered reason.
· Protect people and nations with fair laws and just courts.
Let all nations rule internally resolving external disputes in a world court.
· Avoid petty laws and useless officials.
· Balance personal rights with social duties.
· Prize truth – beauty – love – seeking harmony with the infinite.
· Be not a cancer on the earth – Leave room for nature – Leave room for nature.
The New addition.
The stones are geometrically arranged, they offer three astronomical viewing ports marking the positions of the sun and stars, incredible considering they are a recent build.
There is a new addition to the stones that was noted on September 11, 2014 and that is the small corner stone you can see here on the photo above, top right hand side. You will see a little square tucked away in the corner this is the new addition. The corner stone is made of the same granite similar to the Pyramid Blue granite used to construct the Georgia Guide stones.
The New York Times did an interesting article on the Georgia Guide stones.
Wyatt Martin vows to keep the benefactor’s name a secret. Photo from The New York Times.
“I made an oath to that man, and I can’t break that,” said Wyatt Martin, 82, the retired banker who helped broker the arrangement for the monument, which is 19 feet tall and resembles Stonehenge. “No one will ever know.”
It’s an interesting read and leaves you with lots to think about…???
Who built one of the 10 biggest unsolved mysteries in the world?
What was there intent?
Why all the secrets surrounding the man who was in charge of building this? emmm question after question.
