She Walked Into My Mind
I dreamed a dream of a place, I know where no man has ever been,
the colours and the beauty they are not what I have ever seen.
A wall of books that tower high they reach into the sky,
The welcomed breath of many beings that looked me in the eye.
They took my hand and lead me down a path of flowers bloom,
They took me to a special place, they lit up the scared room.
I took a breath of fragrant air and felt the life rise inside,
I saw a woman in the room, there before me stood my guide.
The beauty, there were no words for her eyes were sapphire blue,
I spoke not a word; she read my mind and everything she knew.
Her face was silken like a wave, her voice was softened gold,
She whispered to my mind inside and this is what she told.
“Man is saddened with a plight that may destroy your world,
But listen carefully to the voice, inside you it is fuelled.
Take all you know and take your breath and blow it upon the ground,
Blow upon the trees and birds, the people all around.
Lift your breath of fragrant air and feel it rise inside,
Take it with you everywhere; let it be your guide.
We watch your world with heavy hearts, yet hope is what we know,
Now take your breath and feel the strength and with this you must go.
We lead you here so you can see the library of scope,
The knowledge here in endless waves, waves of loving hope.
We stand with you amongst you there, upon the planets skin,
Gaia weeps so endlessly upon the human sin.
She offers you her love and home, she offers you her light,
But man has taken all she has and darkness her the plight.
She holds on strong, but weakens now as time has come to pass,
She came to us to have you here, for a human she must ask.
To save her now, her life force dies for nothing she has left,
To her she sees the human race accused of rape and theft.
Now go my child I lead you home, for not long will it come,
For you to feel and see the place where it had all begun.
Take with you strength, for pain there will be.
But we stand here at your side.
For we are here to comfort you, we are here to be your guide.”
I leave my dream and what I’ve seen and look upon the day,
she’s right you know all that she said, there’s nothing more to say.
