Do You Suffer From Identity Crisis?
Most people suffer at some stage from Self-Identity crisis, (How we see ourselves)
I watched this video and couldn’t help but be completely moved by what I saw.
This video gives us a clear indication, that people do in fact see themselves differently in the world then others looking upon them. How we see ourselves gives us a clear path to follow, showing us where our own view of reality comes from.

Most people have hang-ups about themselves, and usually don’t see the fantastic personally traits that they project to the rest of world looking in.
It seems to me more and more people have a square view of themselves, meaning they have in one way or another been put into a box.
The old saying “sticks and stones can hurt my bones, but names can never hurt me” is so utterly incorrect that the person who came up with that saying must have been made of stone.
Criticism can truly impact on an individuals idea of who they are, developing the very Self-Identity Crisis we are talking about.
This gives evidence to the conditioning and programming that we all experience. We are in fact molded to view ourselves the way we do by our experiences in our lives, especially those events that have had tremendous impact.
This is saying to me that as we grow and age, we take in more negative influences than positive. I am not saying we have more negative experiences than positive experiences, I am saying that our hurt mechanism within our thought patterns remembers negative experiences clearer than it remembers positive experience.

They can now measure results showing that the victims genes can in fact alter, in which case it can have long-term effects on emotional behaviours. I find this exciting. If genes can be altered by negative influence then there is no reason why they cannot be altered for positive purposes. This is where Afformations have been a positive help for many people.
The article reads:
“A small study found that bullied kids are more likely to have changes in the expression of a gene involved in mood regulation compared with their identical twin siblings who were not bullied.
Since they were identical twins living in the same conditions, changes in the chemical structure surrounding the gene cannot be explained by genetics or family environment,” researcher Isabelle Ouellet-Morin said in a statement. “Our results suggest that victimisation experiences are the source of these changes.”
In my opinion, this is an amazing find. It clearly advocates to each and every one of us the impact we have on our children and all the people in our lives.
This shows me clearly why people see themselves differently in the world, then others looking upon them.

For those of us who have had trauma in our life, which I might add is most of us, we all know the difficulty of letting go of the emotional attachments that go with it. My thought on the matter is that forgiveness to the self, is essential this enables you to move on, and move through the pain. Forgetting on the other hand goes with out saying, you can’t. I strongly suggest that the memory of a situation keeps you on your toes and in tune with your intuition so that if possible you can at all costs, avoid the situation if it should ever come your way again.
